Mr Mohamad el Hout, Middle East Airlines-Air Liban Chairman had revealed the purchase of 15 new planes that will be joining MEA’s fleet in 2019, 11 Airbus A321neo and 4 Airbus A330-900neo or 4 Boeing 787-9, and also MEA will have direct flights to Madrid 3 times a week starting June 16, 2018.
Mr Hout announcement was revealed during a Digital Event held in Izmir, Turkey with the presence of Lebanese social media influencers and online media.
Also, Middle East Airlines is expanding its headquarters across from its newly launched training center at Beirut Rafic-Hariri International Airport.
The new buildings will include a ground technical services building, an in-flight services facility, an aircraft maintenance facility, a gym and a daycare center for working mothers.
