Food, wine, culture, and history- on Sunday the 17th of September, the MedSNAIL project uncovered some iconic hidden gems in the West Bekaa region. Around 30 participants from across the country got a chance to receive an exclusive view into the underrated and unrecognized villages of West Bekaa.

Starting with a tour of the Ain Zebde village hosted by its very own head of municipality Charbel Nohra, followed by a picnic style breakfast under the trees, a visit to the Latourba Vineyard, the winery and the farm in Saghbine, and finally a tour of the Kamed El Loz Archeological site and museum hosted by its head of municipality Bassam Taha, it was a day filled with history, adventure, and natural marvels.

The participants got the opportunity to meet the local producers who arranged their breakfast, lunch, and snacks with traditional local food throughout the day, creating meaningful exchanges and long-lasting friendships.
