The Jordanian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities and the Jordan Tourism Board, in cooperation with Jordanian tourism associations, have launched the integrated digital platform “Ahlan Bil Urdun” [Welcome to Jordan], which targets Arab markets, and especially neighboring countries (Palestine, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Egypt), in addition to Saudi Arabia and the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
The goal is to enhance inbound tourism to the Kingdom and to facilitate access to tourism programs and services.
The “Ahlan Bil Urdun” platform includes a variety of tourism packages that meet the interests and needs of Arab tourists, and encourage them to explore the archaeological, natural, and tourist sites across the Kingdom’s governorates, through comprehensive offers that provide a distinctive tourism experience.
In turn, Dr. Ramzi Al-Maaytah, Director General of the Jordan Tourism Board, confirmed that launching the platform comes within the Board’s ongoing efforts to strengthen Jordan’s position as a tourist destination in Arab markets, and to invite our Arab brothers and sisters to visit Jordan during the current summer season.
This is due to the country’s diverse tourism, natural, and cultural assets. Jordan is witnessing many different artistic and cultural activities and events during this summer season, such as the Jerash Festival, Amman Summer, Aqaba Waves, in addition to a number of concerts performed by a selection of Arab artists in Amman, Jerash, Aqaba, and Petra.
